Hi, it’s Vildan !  I am a Franco-Turkish, traveling back and forth between Istanbul and Paris for several years, I work freelance with translation offices. Experienced in translation, I have done many academic, legal, sociological and literary translations. I was appointed translator/interpreter at the Çağlayan Court of Appeal (Istanbul) as well as a sworn translator in Turkey.

Translator — Since September 2011
Since I obtained my Turkish language and literature licence degree at INALCO, I have been working as a freelance translator.

An exchange year at Yildiz Teknik University (Istanbul). 

Project of Marmara University (Istanbul) — 2015
Translation of articles for the online project on « Turks and Armenians » 

NON-ERASMUS — 2015/2016
A year of linguistic and literary study at the Dehkhoda Lexicon Institute and International Center for Persian Studies (Tehran)

Turkish government project — 2017
Turkish government project in 2017 regarding the preparation of a big report : the translation into English has been entrusted to me.

Director of the French and English speaking department  — from November 2017 to September 2018, Luxury paper bag company, ISTAPACK (Istanbul), export to European countries.
